We are currently working exclusively with a specialist Debt Collection, Repossession and fraud investigation company serving a wide range of clients across the financial sector.

They require an experienced Administrator and Collections Agent to join their growing team. You will be responsible for overseeing collections and recovery for some of the worlds most established financial institutions.

You will work closely with key clients and report directly into the Operations Director.

A full driving license is essential. Occasional night away would be required. Obligatory 3-month probation period.

Responsibilities:

  • Contacting business throughout the UK to a set out and maintain debt collection procedures.
  • General office administration.
  • Oversee the review process of all active portfolios to ensure quality, consistency and FCA compliance being adhered to.
  • Research, develop, and implement collection procedures that reduce the number of negative case results.
  • Take proactive actions to encourage timely debt payments by high-risk clients.
  • Proactive engagement with specialty law firms, transport providers and administrators on an as needed basis, with the objective of maximizing recoveries.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of all Company's Policies and Procedures, including but not limited to the Credit Policy & Operating Procedures, Fair Lending Policy, Code of Ethics, AML Policy, Information Security Policies, etc.

Required Experience:

  • Administration Experience.
  • Collections experience or credit control experience.
  • Highly disciplined, with excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Computer savvy with a strong proficiency in MS Office Suite applications and tools.
  • Able to work independently, take accountability, and own the essential functions of the role.
  • Must have strong time management skills, remain focused, be organized, and meet deadlines, including the ability to adapt to a process driven work environment.
  • Effective communication, both written and verbal with colleagues in a diverse work environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and ability to multi-task.
