As they develop deep roots in international markets, with customers in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australasia as well as partnerships with global distributors and OEM manufacturers the company continues to redefine their global product offering.
Responsibilities:
- Day to day use of SolidWorks to create and manage 3D parts assemblies and drawings.
- Creating prototypes and working models for verification testing.
- CAD file management and responsible for CAD vault administration.
- Prototype builds.
- Unit and part testing.
- New Product Development.
- Talking to customers for technical support.
- Understanding technical drawings of both mechanical and electrical products.
- Creating verification tests for products and parts.
- Responsible for liaising with suppliers and sub-contractors to complete work packages.
Requirements:
- 2 -5 years’ experience within product and mechanical design.
- Experience in Electro Mechanical Engineering would be ideal.
- Batchelors or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineer, Product Engineering or Product Design with relevant experience.
- Strong SolidWorks experience, preferably with qualifications.
- Ability to create tolerance drawings and assembly instructions.
- Promote product safety and compliance, align with all safety and environmental rules, policies, and procedures.
- Understanding correct and appropriate materials use.
- Understanding regulatory requirements.
- Experience of DFMEA and Risk Management.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good written communication skills.
- Good influencing skills with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues.
- Ability to analyse data.
